This distinction in the way women and men think about footwear is partly down to nature, girls wish to look their best and while many will not ever admit it they want to look appealing to guys. Guys need something to stop their own feet getting wet.
You could see how this distinction in attitude makes shopping for shoes a fun-filled experience for girls but a little bit of a task for a lot of men. The longer you are in a store the more likely you’re to buy something, there is something called the law of reciprocity. The more you feel that the shop has done to try to help you the more you feel you should purchase something.
There’s nothing wrong with checking out as many pairs of shoes as you wish to, just don’t feel hassled into getting anything.
